Case-Mate Cooler Tote
The cooler tote is Case-Mates’ first venture in coolers. It also stands out as a fashion product in the cooler space. Designed after basket bags, I worked on this product from concept to manufacture. The soft cooler has a molded silione base, TPE sides, and 1/2” insulating foam. It can keep contents below 40°F for up to 20 hours.
Once the team was happy with a sketch form, I created Solidworks CAD for marketing renders and sewing patterns.
I used 3D CAD to start on the illustrator sewing patterns. Paper prototyping also helped ensure we were achieving the ideal physical shape.
